Contractors and home services
The defining industry here: new construction, remodeling, A/C and roofing at full speed.
How I approach itCypress is currently the fastest-growing suburb in the Houston area. If you work in construction, remodeling or home services, your market is expanding under your feet.
Cypress leads the Houston area in both new construction and buyer interest. That draws a very specific market: newly built or newly purchased homes, and young families spending to make them their own. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, A/C, roofing, landscaping, garages. If your business touches any of those, you're in the right area at the right time.
The customer profile here is young and digital. These aren't people who ask a neighbor for a contractor's number: they search Google, read the reviews, collect three estimates, and want to see photos of the work before letting anyone into their house. If you have nothing to show them, it isn't that they distrust you — it's that they have nothing to decide with.
And there's a consequence of all that growth working in your favor: the digital standard among Cypress competitors is still low. There are excellent contractors working here with a Facebook page untouched for two years. Getting ahead of them doesn't require being better on the job — it requires proving what you already do well.
In the newer subdivisions of Cypress, many homes share a builder and a floor plan. So a kitchen you remodeled three streets over is, give or take the finishes, your next customer's kitchen. Label each before-and-after with its neighborhood and the customer isn't looking at one of your jobs — they're looking at their own house, finished. No slogan can do that.

How I approach itYoung families who book from their phone at any hour.
How I approach itNew neighborhoods with no go-to spots yet: there's an opening to become one.
How I approach itCypress is about 35 minutes out, and for construction projects I'm happy to come by once if you have a job underway: it's the best way to plan the before-and-after photos properly from the start.
With one page per area you genuinely cover, each with its own content — not the same page with the city name swapped. That distinction matters: Google penalizes cloned pages and rewards ones that say something specific about each place. You also want your service areas declared properly in your Google Business Profile, and there's a rule few people keep in mind: declare too wide an area and Google can discount your relevance across all of them. Covering five areas well beats twenty badly.
Yes, as long as you've actually worked there. A job labeled "Kitchen remodel, Bridgeland" shows a customer from Bridgeland that you know their houses, and tells Google where you really work. What doesn't work is a block of forty neighborhood names at the bottom of the page: Google's own rules treat that as spam, and customers skip right past it.
