In this business you don't lose money on price or on quality. You lose it on friction. People decide to get cleaned up at hours when you're closed, and if the only way to book is to call, they have to remember tomorrow. Most don't — or they call the place that let them book from their phone.
And there's a cost nobody counts: the time you spend on the phone. Every call to book, confirm or move an appointment is an interruption in the middle of a cut. Multiply that by twenty calls a day and it's billable hours going into managing a calendar instead of doing the work.
Third is proof. In a visual trade, a new client isn't buying your experience — they're buying what they can see. If your work only lives in an Instagram feed, the person who found you on Google never sees it, and they decide without it.
